1. About the service

Piadrop is an app that scans sheet music and helps you practice piano with sound and visuals. These terms apply to your use of Piadrop.

2. Sheet music and rights

Please use sheet music that you hold the rights to, that you have permission to use, or that you may lawfully use. Rights in imported sheet music remain with the original rights holders. Importing sheet music into the app does not give you the right to distribute or publish it.

3. Licenses for built-in songs

The score data for built-in songs is subject to the license listed in each song's “Song credits”. Creative Commons score data and the parts converted or arranged by Piadrop may be reused under the same license shown. These terms do not restrict any copying, modification, or redistribution permitted by that license. The applicable score data can be exported from “Song credits”.

4. Scanning and practice records

Scan results and playback may differ from the original score. Use the app while checking against the original score as needed. Practice time and counts show playback activity in the app; they do not guarantee the accuracy of your playing or your learning results.

5. Fees

Practicing a song all the way to the end, editing scores, and some other features require an active Piadrop Pro subscription. Without a subscription, you can still import sheet music and practice the part shown in the app (currently the first 4 measures of each song). Prices, periods, and whether a free trial is included are shown on the purchase screen, and purchases are charged to your Apple Account. The free trial is available only to eligible users and is not offered on some of the plans shown. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. If you don't want to continue, cancel in Apple's subscription settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. You need to allow notifications to receive them, and they may not arrive depending on your device settings or other factors.

6. Rules for use

Please do not use the app in ways that violate laws or the rights of third parties, do anything that interferes with the app's operation, or attempt unauthorized access. If you are a minor, please review how you use the app with a parent or guardian as needed.

7. Data management

Sheet music and practice records are stored on your device. They may be lost if you delete the app, if your device breaks, or for similar reasons. Please also keep your original sheet music yourself. Piadrop does not provide its own cloud sync or recovery service.

8. Changes and scope of liability

Features may change as we improve the app. The operator is liable in accordance with applicable law, and these terms are not intended to disclaim liability or limit consumer rights in any way not permitted by law.

9. Changes to these terms and contact

If we change these terms, we will announce the revised content and its date in the app or on this site. For questions about using the app, please contact us through “Support” in Settings.
